Workshops, Consultations, & Tongue Assessments

Ginger's Roots herb shop is located in the heart of Laurel, Maryland. We offer private consultations and individual and small group workshops for people looking to adopt herbs and whole foods as part of their health regimen. Workshops are designed for people new to plant medicine who are looking to understand the basics of home herbalism. Private one-on-one consultations are for people who want to sit down with an herbalist and do a deep dive into the underlying causes of health conditions and explore custom herbal remedies and alternative medicine practices. Health tarot readings are for spiritually-curious clients that are in search of answers to their health issues. Last, we offer tongue assessments for a quick, non-invasive view of the body to understand which organs show deficiencies or dysfunction. 

For all custom orders, we require you to first schedule a tongue assessment or a private consultation. We require a consultation or assessment with one of our herbalists before we make a custom formula to ensure we are not including any herbs that could interact with existing health conditions, prescription drugs, or supplements.
