Goldenrod, Solidago virgaurea, is a very soothing and healing herb. It is a useful diuretic for urinary tract problems, obstructions, kidney stones, and inflammation. It is helpful for hay fever and allergies to cats. It can be helpful for upper respiratory infections and yeast infections like thrush. Topically, it is a good anti-inflammatory for sore muscles.
Not for use with edema from kidney failure.
This can be taken as an infusion, tincture, glycerite, or topical use.
